About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of next-generation financial tools for the decentralized web. In this role, you'll solve complex product challenges, create seamless user experiences, and help bring DeFi to the next million users. You’ll work closely with engineering, product, and research teams in a fast-paced environment that values creativity, ownership, and craft.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end design projects, from discovery through delivery
- Design innovative, user-friendly interactions that make DeFi more accessible
- Develop and refine wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape product strategy
- Contribute to and evolve our design system to support rapid, consistent development
- Share your expertise by mentoring other designers and promoting design best practices
- Represent Uniswap Labs in the broader design and Web3 communities
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience designing digital products, ideally in FinTech or a related field
- A portfolio showcasing strong UX and UI design, with examples of independent project ownership
- Experience using Figma or similar tools to design and prototype
- Strong understanding of design systems and component libraries
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain design decisions clearly
- Interest in Web3, blockchain technology, and decentralized finance
Bonus Points
- Experience working with crypto wallets, tokens, or blockchain interfaces
- High-fidelity prototyping skills
- Use of AI tools in your design workflows
- Passion for building open, user-owned financial systems
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary: $238,000 – $265,000
