About Squadformers

At Squadformers, we accelerate startups with powerful missions by offering subscription-based access to elite product and engineering teams. Our squads work on meaningful products that create lasting impact—and we do it with a deep commitment to people, quality, and growth.

We're proud to be a remote-first company with a high-trust, low-ego culture. Our values are more than words—they guide how we build, collaborate, and support each other:

  • People First: We prioritize well-being and sustainable work.
  • Trust the Squad: Collaboration and camaraderie over ego.
  • Simplify and Go: Clarity, momentum, and meaningful progress.
  • Find the Flow: Flexible work hours and a focused mindset.
  • Always Be Learning: Curiosity and constant growth fuel our teams.

About the Role

As a Senior Product Designer, you'll work at the intersection of design craft, user empathy, and systems thinking. You’ll lead the creation of intuitive, elegant experiences for complex workflows, helping mission-driven startups launch impactful products.

You'll collaborate closely with product managers, developers, QA engineers, and clients to shape product direction, simplify data-heavy interfaces, and bring powerful tools to life—from concept to delivery.

This is a high-impact role for a designer who loves solving real problems and building thoughtful, scalable solutions in a collaborative, low-ego team.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead UX/UI design for multiple products from concept through implementation
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align product vision with user needs and business outcomes
  • Conduct user research, testing, and discovery to inform design decisions
  • Simplify complex data insights and workflows into clean, intuitive experiences
  • Design wireframes, prototypes, visual specs, and user flows
  • Advocate for a consistent design system and cohesive visual language
  • Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams throughout the development cycle

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in product design, ideally in SaaS or data-driven tools
  • Strong visual and interaction design skills with a passion for usability
  • Proven track record designing and launching high-impact digital products
  • Experience simplifying complex workflows at scale
  • Comfortable collaborating with stakeholders and leading projects independently
  • Proficiency with design tools like Figma
  • Great communicator — able to explain design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical teams
  • Self-starter mindset with excellent time management
  • Degree not required
  • Must be able to work PST hours (or close to them) — U.S., Canada, Mexico, or South America preferred
  • Portfolio required (website or Dribbble link)

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary ($110K–$170K depending on experience and location)
  • 100% remote work environment
  • Option for full-time, contractor, or fractional roles
  • Flexible W2 or 1099 arrangements
  • Internal wellness events like meditation and yoga

W2 Benefits Include:

  • Generous PTO
  • Paid holidays
  • Parental leave
  • FSA & HSA options
  • Medical, dental & vision insurance
