Sayari is seeking a contract Senior Product Designer to lead UX/UI efforts on their graph and map interfaces. These tools help users identify complex risk patterns—ideal for someone who thrives on data-heavy design challenges and visual storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end UX/UI design for graph and geospatial interfaces
- Collaborate with researchers for user validation and iteration
- Expand and maintain the design system (accessibility, scalability, components)
- Work closely with PMs and engineers to turn insights into polished features
- Craft visually refined designs using strong motion, layout, and interaction sensibility
- Present and defend design decisions to senior stakeholders
- Explore emerging design and AI tools
Requirements
- 6+ years of product design experience with data-heavy or mapping tools
- Excellent portfolio showcasing graph, map, or B2B SaaS UX/UI work
- Strong visual design skills (color, motion, typography)
- Figma expert, including use of AI plugins
- Proficient with generative AI tools and modern prototyping platforms (e.g., Vercel)
- Comfortable in agile, cross-functional environments
- Experience contributing to and scaling design systems
- Strong communication and storytelling skills
- Analytical mindset, especially for visualizing complex data
Bonus Points
- Experience in risk intelligence, supply chain, or enterprise SaaS
- Background in geospatial tools or visualizing relationships/networks
Education
- Degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
