A leading open-source DevSecOps platform—used by over 100,000 organizations—is hiring a Senior Product Designer to join their Pipeline Security team. Their mission is to make software development safer, faster, and more collaborative through a fully remote, AI-enhanced platform.

About the Role

This role focuses on designing tools that help teams manage software development secrets and reduce security risks without slowing down workflows. You’ll work on critical areas such as Secrets Management, creating intuitive, enterprise-grade interfaces that support developers, security engineers, and AppSec professionals. One of the top priorities will be designing a new integrated secrets manager experience from the ground up.

You’ll join a focused team and collaborate with product managers, engineers, and UX researchers. Expect to work on large-scale enterprise challenges and create smart, user-friendly security solutions for complex needs.

What You’ll Do

  • Design end-to-end experiences for a new, native secrets management solution
  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering leads to define goals and strategy
  • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
  • Contribute to product-wide design systems
  • Partner with UX researchers to validate assumptions and improve usability
  • Take part in usability testing and apply user insights to guide your work
  • Help shape the design vision for broader DevSecOps workflows

What They’re Looking For

  • Strong background in designing enterprise-level software with user-friendly interfaces
  • Experience working with developer or security-focused tools (ideally in DevSecOps)
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and agile workflows
  • Experience collaborating across multiple teams and balancing priorities
  • Familiarity with Git workflows and comfort working asynchronously
  • Ability to conduct your own research and apply findings to your design process

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience designing for security tooling
  • A background in working with remote, global teams
  • Contributions to open-source or design systems

About the Team

Designers here are embedded within product teams but also part of a broader design organization. You’ll have mentorship, a collaborative design system, and access to research and product support. The Secrets Management team is currently focused on improving the user experience around CI/CD variables and secure credential handling.

Benefits

  • Remote-first work environment
  • Flexible PTO
  • Equity and stock purchase options
  • Parental leave
  • Health, wellness, and home office support
  • Personal development budget
  • Global team and async-friendly culture

This company encourages applicants from all backgrounds to apply—even if you don’t meet every single requirement. They value diverse perspectives and are committed to inclusive hiring.
