This fast-growing event tech company is looking for a Staff Product Designer to lead high-impact design initiatives that help creators launch and scale events—from local meetups to global festivals.
You’ll take ownership of key surfaces, shape scalable design systems, and work across teams to build user-friendly, accessible, and beautifully crafted solutions. This is a strategic, hands-on role for a senior designer ready to influence both product direction and team growth.
What You’ll Do
- Lead critical product initiatives from concept to launch across multiple touchpoints
- Evolve and maintain design systems to ensure cohesion, scalability, and accessibility
- Define product vision in close partnership with engineering, product, and research teams
- Mentor designers and foster a high-craft, high-impact design culture
- Translate research insights into journeys and solutions that meet real user needs
- Deliver polished, elegant UI with a focus on interaction, motion, and usability
- Communicate with clarity, using storytelling and prototypes to align stakeholders
- Push rapid iteration, testing early and learning fast
- Improve processes, tools, and documentation to scale the design function
- Think big-picture, identifying new loops, systems, and opportunities for growth
What You Bring
- 5+ years designing web or SaaS products at scale
- Strong strategic thinking and product intuition
- Deep understanding of design systems and component libraries
- Expert in Figma and modern prototyping tools (e.g. Framer, Protopie, Rive, etc.)
- Strong visual, interaction, and systems design craft
- Ability to mentor and influence across disciplines
- Experience navigating complexity and ambiguity
- Collaborative and curious mindset with strong communication skills
Bonus if You Have
- Worked on marketplaces or multi-sided platforms
- Contributed to large-scale design systems
- Led foundational UX work or platform-level design efforts
- Experience in startups or high-growth environments
