About the Role
We’re hiring a Senior Product Designer to help lead end-to-end design for Circle’s SaaS platform. This role involves improving user experience and interface quality across the product and helping shape future features that empower online communities.
You’ll collaborate across departments, lead design projects, and take responsibility for the usability and polish of the product. If you have experience designing tools for creators or SaaS platforms and are comfortable working autonomously in a remote-first, async environment, this could be a strong fit.
What You’ll Do
- Lead design projects from concept to delivery across the full product lifecycle
- Create wireframes, flows, prototypes, and polished UI designs using Figma
- Make data-informed design decisions using product analytics and user research
- Participate in cross-functional planning and communicate design rationale to stakeholders
- Review and refine live product experiences to ensure quality and consistency
- Contribute to Circle’s design system and maintain UI standards across platforms
- Work closely with developers throughout the implementation phase
- Stay up to date with trends in design, technology, and community platforms
- Proactively propose improvements and drive design quality
Requirements
- 6+ years of product design experience with a focus on SaaS platforms
- Strong portfolio showcasing UX and UI across responsive web and mobile
- Advanced Figma skills (design, prototyping, collaboration, components)
- Experience working with design systems and maintaining consistency at scale
- Comfort working in asynchronous, remote environments
- Data-informed mindset: comfortable using metrics and research to support decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English (CEFR Level C2 or equivalent)
- Detail-oriented with a high bar for design quality
- Experience using AI tools in design workflows is a plus
- Prior experience in community platforms or creator tools is a strong advantage
- Degree in Design, HCI, or a related field is helpful but not required
