We are now hiring a Senior Product Designer to shape the future of Tala’s core products and help us expand into new markets.
The Role
As Senior Product Designer, you’ll be a key leader on our design team. Your focus will be on building customer-centric experiences that make financial tools accessible, simple, and empowering.
You’ll take ownership of end-to-end product design, from research to prototypes, and guide the design vision across teams. You’ll also play a leadership role—mentoring designers, improving processes, and ensuring design quality at scale.
What You’ll Do
- Design intuitive, customer-first features that make a real impact
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and fellow designers to ship regularly
- Lead initiatives beyond the immediate roadmap, solving complex user problems with scalable solutions
- Produce flows, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed specs
- Coach and support other designers, driving best practices and strong design culture
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in UX/UI design within fast-paced tech environments
- Experience designing at a system level using Design Systems
- Strong background in usability research and turning insights into design solutions
- Proficiency in Figma (bonus if you know other tools)
- A portfolio that demonstrates your process, design thinking, and shipped work
