Senior Product Designer

Design better experiences for the people who make youth sports happen

TeamSnap is looking for a Senior Product Designer to improve the digital experience used by parents, coaches, players, and sports organizations across the US.

This isn't a role focused on polishing isolated screens. You'll work alongside Product and Engineering from early discovery through launch, using research, customer feedback, and product data to decide what should be built and how it should work.

You'll also have a meaningful role in creating a more consistent experience across TeamSnap's products and evolving the design system behind them.

What you'll be working on

You'll take ownership of product design initiatives across TeamSnap's web and mobile experiences, turning product opportunities into simple, useful solutions.

Your work will include:

• Taking features from early exploration and research through final design and implementation.
• Speaking with users and bringing research findings into product decisions.
• Creating sketches, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces.
• Using qualitative feedback and quantitative data to evaluate and improve design decisions.
• Working closely with Product Managers and Engineers to understand technical constraints and make sensible trade-offs.
• Testing ideas, gathering feedback, and iterating before and after launch.
• Helping develop and maintain TeamSnap's design system.
• Partnering with Marketing Design to keep the product experience aligned with the wider TeamSnap brand.
• Managing several design priorities while maintaining a high standard of craft.

What TeamSnap is looking for

You should have 4+ years of Product Design experience and a portfolio that shows more than finished UI. TeamSnap wants to see how you approached problems, developed ideas, and ultimately created measurable improvements for users or the business.

You'll also need:

• Strong UX and visual design fundamentals.
• Advanced Figma and prototyping skills.
• Experience designing digital products across web and/or mobile.
• Confidence working directly with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams.
• The ability to use research and data to support design decisions.
• An understanding of technical considerations and the trade-offs involved in bringing designs into production.
• A degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent experience.

Experience spanning both B2C and B2B products would be particularly useful, although it isn't required.

A remote company built around sports

TeamSnap has operated remotely since 2009, so distributed collaboration isn't an afterthought. You'll be joining a company with an established remote culture and teams working across different US time zones.

The role is currently available to permanent US residents, although TeamSnap excludes hiring from a limited number of US states.

Compensation and benefits

Compensation for this position starts at $130,000 USD, including base salary and bonus. The final package depends on factors such as experience, skills, certifications, and location.
