RootstockLabs is looking for a Senior Product Designer with strong illustration skills to join its Product Design team. This role blends creativity and systems thinking to craft intuitive, inclusive designs across digital and physical experiences.
You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to design across web, mobile, print, and motion. You’ll also manage and evolve the company’s design system, ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints.
This position is ideal for a designer who enjoys working independently, values user-centered design, and wants to make Web3 more accessible.
Responsibilities
- Lead design projects from research to delivery, using user insights to inform solutions.
- Validate ideas through testing, feedback, and data-driven iteration.
- Create polished, functional designs for digital and print experiences.
- Build and maintain a scalable design system.
- Produce illustrations, animations, and motion assets for various platforms.
- Review design quality after release and ensure consistency across products.
- Mentor and collaborate with other designers on creative direction and execution.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in product or visual design.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design and prototyping.
- Proven experience creating and managing design systems.
- Portfolio showcasing illustration and motion design work.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently across time zones.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
