Coin Factory is a blockchain-powered competitive gaming platform where players compete in PvP matches, join tournaments, and rise on public leaderboards—earning MGC tokens along the way. The platform supports both digital and physical games, is mobile-first, decentralized, and focused on community-driven competition and rewards.

We’re scaling quickly and preparing to launch our native mobile apps (iOS and Android). We’re now hiring a Senior Product Designer to lead mobile UX/UI and help shape the next generation of competitive gaming experiences.

About the Role
As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll own the design of our mobile experience—from onboarding and match submission to wallet integration and token rewards. You’ll turn complex flows into engaging and intuitive app interfaces. You’ll collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and token specialists, and apply systems thinking and data-driven design across everything you deliver.

What You’ll Be Doing

Native Mobile App Design

  • Lead UX and UI for our native mobile apps (iOS and Android)
  • Design responsive, high-performing app experiences and collaborate closely with engineers on quality execution

User Research & UX Strategy

  • Conduct research to understand player and organizer needs
  • Map user journeys and identify pain points across key interactions
  • Apply behavioral insights and gamer psychology to improve feature adoption

Visual & Interaction Design

  • Create engaging mobile experiences that feel game-inspired and intuitive
  • Define visual hierarchy, transitions, and motion to support usability

Design Systems

  • Build and maintain our mobile design system (components, spacing, tokens, accessibility)
  • Align mobile and web experiences with consistent design language
  • Document usage, patterns, and logic for scalable handoff

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with product managers in early-stage discovery and feature definition
  • Work closely with engineers from concept to QA
  • Champion design quality while considering constraints and trade-offs

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product design experience, including 2+ years in native mobile apps
  • Strong portfolio of end-to-end app design work (bonus for gaming, fintech, or Web3)
  • Deep understanding of iOS and Android UX standards
  • Confident working across research, strategy, and high-fidelity execution
  • Expert in Figma, mobile prototyping, and design systems
  • Proficiency in English and strong communication skills
  • Ownership mindset and accountability from start to finish
  • Skilled in prompt engineering and AI design tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney, Galileo, Magician, Notion AI) to enhance ideation, UX copy, and iteration speed

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Web3: wallets, tokens, NFTs, or decentralized UX
  • Background in gaming as a designer or player
  • Motion design knowledge (e.g., Lottie, Principle, After Effects)
  • Understanding of front-end capabilities or basic coding skills
  • Contributions to design systems at scale
