RapidAI develops advanced AI-driven imaging and care coordination solutions that help hospitals accelerate diagnosis, improve collaboration, and save lives. Trusted by healthcare teams worldwide, RapidAI’s platform transforms complex medical data into clear, actionable insights that support faster, more confident treatment decisions.

The Role

RapidAI is looking for a Senior Product Designer to shape intuitive, reliable products for clinicians. You’ll work on both mobile and desktop applications used by stroke, trauma, and vascular teams in critical care settings — balancing user needs, clinical accuracy, and complex data visualization.

This position is ideal for designers who thrive on problem-solving in high-impact environments and enjoy turning complex systems into elegant, user-centered experiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the end-to-end design process — from concept to polished UI.
  • Conduct user research with clinicians to understand real-world workflows and pain points.
  • Design user flows, wireframes, and prototypes for web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and AI/ML teams to translate data into meaningful design solutions.
  • Occasionally travel (up to 20%) for research and internal meetings.

What You’ll Bring

  • 6+ years of experience in Product or UX Design, ideally in healthcare or enterprise environments.
  • A portfolio demonstrating systems thinking and solutions for complex user problems.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Mastery of tools like Figma, Sketch, or Dovetail.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt quickly to feedback.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with hospital systems such as EHR or PACS.
  • Knowledge of ethical and effective use of generative AI in design workflows.
  • A degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.

Your First 90 Days

First 30 days: Learn RapidAI’s processes, shadow clinicians, and handle small design tasks.
60 days: Own a mid-size feature and lead user research.
90 days: Drive discovery and execution for a new, high-impact feature and share design best practices internally.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $170,000 – $180,000 USD (depending on experience and location)
  • Inclusive, diverse, and collaborative workplace
  • Equal opportunity employer (no visa sponsorship available)

Location: Fully remote within the United States
