Our newest product, PlayMode, bridges gameplay and learning. It’s a fast, fun, and educational way to play poker — designed to teach Game Theory Optimal (GTO) strategy through engaging heads-up matches, real-time feedback, and beautifully designed gameplay. Built for both desktop and iOS, PlayMode makes learning poker addictive, intuitive, and insightful.
The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to help shape the visual and interactive experience of PlayMode. This isn’t your typical dashboard design job — you’ll be designing game-like experiences that are responsive, visually polished, and educational. You’ll collaborate with product managers, engineers, and game designers to create a seamless experience that feels equal parts fun and strategic.
This role is perfect for designers who enjoy blending interaction design with playful UI and want to make a real impact in the gaming and learning space.
What You’ll Do
- Design game screens, learning flows, and UI moments across web and mobile
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and iterate quickly based on feedback and testing
- Define visual direction including UI motion, iconography, animations, and HUD elements
- Ensure responsive and polished design across desktop and mobile platforms
- Collaborate with developers to bring designs to life with pixel-level precision
- Help evolve a flexible design system that balances gameplay creativity with brand consistency
- Conduct lightweight user research and testing to improve design decisions
What We’re Looking For
- Strong portfolio showcasing polished UI and interaction design for desktop and mobile
- 3+ years of experience designing products, preferably in gaming, ed-tech, or interactive apps
- High attention to detail and a strong visual eye — you care about every pixel
- Native proficiency in Figma
- Experience designing mobile-first UIs and responsive experiences
- A creative mindset with the ability to make functional features feel fun and intuitive
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and lean teams
- Bonus: experience designing for gamified products, animations, or micro-interactions
- Bonus: understanding or interest in poker and GTO strategy
