Taroko Software is a fast-growing venture studio based in Taipei, inspired by Silicon Valley’s innovation culture. We build, design, and support startups that are redefining industries through technology. With a strong presence in U.S. markets and global operations, our focus is on crafting meaningful digital products that combine creativity, functionality, and impact.

You’ll be joining Hue, one of our newest and most ambitious ventures — an AI-powered platform helping entrepreneurs and small business owners turn their brand ideas into reality. Hue currently offers tools for creating logos and brand kits, with plans to expand into websites, domains, trademarks, and company setup. Our vision is to make brand creation and business launch simple, fast, and seamless — all in one platform.

If you’re passionate about design, fascinated by AI, and eager to shape an emerging product that empowers millions of creators, this is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact.

The Role

As a Senior UI/UX Designer at Hue, you’ll lead the design of both product interfaces and the visual identity of the brand. You’ll own the full design process — from concept to final implementation — across landing pages, dashboards, onboarding flows, and marketing assets.

You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and marketing to translate data, user insights, and business goals into intuitive and engaging designs that improve user experience and drive growth.

This role combines product design, brand design, and creative strategy — ideal for a designer who enjoys variety and ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business and user insights into designs that balance usability, aesthetics, and performance.
  • Conduct competitive and user research to identify design opportunities.
  • Plan and run usability and A/B tests, turning insights into actionable improvements.
  • Define and maintain scalable design systems to ensure consistency across product and marketing touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs.
  • Oversee logo and brand kit design specifications, reviewing assets and typography with freelancers when needed.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Hue’s visual identity and marketing materials.
  • Stay up to date on UI/UX trends, AI tools, and accessibility best practices, and advocate for their adoption within the team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience designing SaaS or web-based products (desktop and mobile).
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UI/UX design, brand systems, and logo design.
  • Advanced proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, or Framer.
  • Deep understanding of user experience principles, responsive design, and accessibility (WCAG).
  • Proven ability to use user feedback and analytics to refine designs.
  • Experience working with or reviewing custom fonts and typography is a plus.
  • Experience designing for localization or multilingual interfaces is a plus.
  • Basic familiarity with HTML, CSS, or JavaScript is beneficial.

Benefits

  • Fully remote — work from anywhere with flexible scheduling.
  • Competitive salary aligned with experience and market standards.
  • 15 days paid vacation and 5 paid sick days annually.
  • Growth opportunity: Join at a key moment in Hue’s development and shape its future direction.
  • Supportive, inclusive culture that values creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Additional company perks such as “work from home” gifts, pet-friendly options, and community initiatives.

How to Apply

If you’re ready to combine design, AI, and product innovation in one role, we’d love to hear from you.

Please send your resume, portfolio, and a short message explaining why you’d be a great fit for this position.
