The Role
PointClickCare is seeking a Senior UX Designer to improve the usability of our platform and enable care professionals to make better-informed decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams, conducting research, designing intuitive interfaces, and delivering user experiences that make a real difference.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, testing, and feedback sessions to guide design decisions.
- Create mockups, prototypes, and workflows to visualize functionality and user journeys.
- Refine personas, map journeys, and advocate for user needs throughout the design process.
- Collaborate with Product Management to iterate on strategic initiatives.
- Partner with Engineers and QA to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Champion UX best practices and emerging design trends.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven expertise in professional UX design with a strong portfolio.
- Exceptional visual design skills – we aim to have the best UI in healthcare.
- Experience with AI prototyping tools and usability testing platforms.
- Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for fostering collaboration.
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus for communicating with engineers.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe, Protopie, etc.
Requirements
- Must attach a portfolio to be considered.
- Remote candidates may need to travel occasionally to Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City for onboarding, team events, and semi-annual or annual meetings.
- Hybrid candidates must reside within commutable distance to the office.
Salary & Benefits
- Base salary: $100,000–$125,000 USD (US locations).
- Full-time benefits included.
