Clear Digital is looking for a Senior UX Strategist to lead strategy across enterprise B2B websites and digital experiences.
This is a senior, client-facing position combining UX strategy, research, analytics, content strategy, conversion optimization and digital marketing. You'll help organizations determine not only what their websites should look like, but what they need to accomplish for users and the business.
The remote US contract pays $90–$140 per hour and requires at least five years of relevant web and digital strategy experience.
Lead strategy for complex B2B websites
You'll work across the early strategic stages of major website initiatives, helping establish the direction that UX, design, content and development teams will ultimately execute.
Your work will include:
- Leading discovery and strategic planning
- Defining website and digital strategy
- Mapping user journeys
- Developing audience personas
- Shaping information architecture
- Conducting competitive analysis
- Reviewing existing UX
- Performing content audits
- Evaluating SEO opportunities
- Analyzing website performance
- Identifying conversion opportunities
- Defining KPIs and measurement plans
The objective is to connect user needs, business objectives and measurable digital performance.
Turn research and data into strategic decisions
This role requires considerably more than UX intuition.
Clear Digital wants someone capable of combining qualitative research, analytics and business context to determine where clients should invest and how digital experiences should evolve.
You'll work with tools such as:
- GA4
- Looker Studio
- Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity
- Semrush
- Similar analytics and research platforms
You'll use that evidence to identify opportunities, reduce uncertainty and defend strategic recommendations to clients.

Become the strategic voice between client and delivery teams
A major part of the position is client-facing.
You'll act as a strategic advisor connecting clients with Clear Digital's UX, design, content, development and project management teams.
That includes:
- Facilitating discovery sessions
- Running stakeholder workshops
- Presenting research findings
- Presenting strategic recommendations
- Defending recommendations with evidence
- Aligning stakeholders around priorities
- Advising executive stakeholders
- Handling strategy-related questions throughout delivery
- Contributing to pitches and proposals
Strong presentation and facilitation skills are therefore just as important as traditional UX expertise.
Figma and UX expertise still matter
Although this is primarily a strategy position, Clear Digital expects expert-level Figma proficiency.
You should be comfortable creating:
- Wireframes
- User flows
- Prototypes
- Design systems
You'll also need a strong understanding of:
- UX principles
- Information architecture
- Content strategy
- Responsive web experiences
- Accessibility and WCAG
- Lead generation
- Conversion optimization
- Enterprise governance
AI search and modern SEO
Clear Digital also wants someone who understands how search is evolving.
The role specifically calls for knowledge of AI search visibility, LLM optimization and modern SEO, alongside more established SEO and analytics practices.
You'll also research emerging digital technologies and identify relevant AI-driven opportunities for both clients and internal teams.
That makes this an interesting role for a UX Strategist who wants to operate beyond traditional UX and influence how enterprise digital experiences respond to changes in search, AI and user behavior.
What they're looking for
You should have at least 5 years of experience across digital strategy, web strategy, digital marketing or a closely related discipline.
Strong candidates will bring experience with:
- Enterprise B2B websites
- UX and digital strategy
- Conversion optimization
- Information architecture
- Content strategy
- SEO
- Analytics
- Lead generation
- Qualitative research
- Website KPIs
- Figma
- Accessibility
- CMS platforms
- Client presentations
- Stakeholder workshops
Agency experience is preferred, particularly if you've worked across multiple demanding projects and clients simultaneously.
Experience with platforms such as Contentful, Sitecore, Optimizely or WordPress is also useful.
Who could be a strong fit?
This opportunity is particularly suited to someone who has moved beyond pure UX execution and now operates at the intersection of UX, business strategy and digital performance.
You could be a strong match if you're currently working as a:
- Senior UX Strategist
- Digital Strategist
- Senior UX Designer with strong strategic experience
- Web Strategist
- Experience Strategist
- Product/UX professional specializing in B2B digital experiences
You'll need to be comfortable discussing both user needs and business outcomes, and defending recommendations in front of senior stakeholders.
