Design healthcare software that simplifies complex clinical workflows
Fortive is looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to help shape the user experience of healthcare SaaS products used by clinicians and healthcare organizations.
In this role, you'll transform complex clinical and administrative processes into intuitive digital experiences, working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and researchers to build accessible, scalable products that improve day-to-day healthcare workflows.
What you'll do
As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you'll lead projects from early discovery through implementation while influencing product strategy and design consistency across multiple products.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading user research, discovery workshops, and usability testing.
- Designing user flows, information architecture, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
- Creating high-fidelity interfaces and developer-ready design specifications.
- Simplifying complex healthcare workflows through thoughtful interaction design.
- Contributing to and evolving the company's design system and component library.
- Collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to align user needs with technical solutions.
- Championing accessibility, usability, and responsive design best practices.
- Presenting design decisions to stakeholders and mentoring other designers across the team.
What they're looking for
The ideal candidate will have:
- 7+ years of UX/UI or Product Design experience.
- Experience designing complex B2B or SaaS products.
- Advanced proficiency with Figma and modern prototyping tools.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, information architecture, accessibility, and responsive design.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Experience building or maintaining design systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working within Agile product teams.
- Familiarity with AI-powered design tools to improve workflows and productivity.
Nice to have
- Experience designing healthcare or health technology products.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA.
- HTML/CSS knowledge and experience collaborating closely with front-end developers.
- Experience with dashboards and data visualization.
- Previous mentoring or design leadership experience.

Salary & Benefits
- $137,200–$229,100 annual salary
