Terra is looking for an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join its collaborative Creative team and lead the design of sophisticated websites and digital experiences for a diverse range of clients.
This fully remote position is ideal for a designer with at least five years of professional experience who combines strong visual design capabilities with user-centered thinking, technical awareness, and the confidence to independently manage complex projects.
You will oversee design execution from early discovery and wireframing through high-fidelity interfaces, design systems, and developer handoff. Working alongside creative directors, strategists, project managers, and developers, you will help transform business requirements into accessible, engaging, and visually refined digital products.
Beyond your own projects, you will contribute to design reviews, participate in client presentations, and support other designers through constructive feedback.
The position offers significant creative ownership without formal people-management responsibilities.

- Incorporate accessibility best practices, including WCAG AA requirements.
Collaboration and Development Handoff
- Partner with developers to ensure design solutions are technically feasible and implemented accurately.
- Prepare clear design specifications, component documentation, and handoff materials.
- Resolve design and usability challenges throughout development.
- Communicate design concepts and decisions during internal reviews and client presentations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across creative, strategy, project management, and development.
Creative Leadership and Project Ownership
- Independently manage design assignments, priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Provide thoughtful feedback to other designers and help maintain high creative standards.
- Support project leads by identifying risks, communicating progress, and coordinating design requirements.
- Contribute ideas that improve team workflows, design quality, and creative processes.
- Stay informed about emerging UX/UI tools, design trends, and digital technologies.

- Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and the capabilities and limitations of frontend development.
- Working knowledge of web accessibility standards, particularly WCAG AA.
- Ability to balance user requirements, business objectives, visual storytelling, and technical feasibility.
