A leading global travel platform is looking for an experienced Senior UX Writer to join their remote team on a freelance basis. This role focuses on shaping how millions of travelers interact with the product—using clear, helpful, and consistent copy across platforms. Your Main Responsibilities
- Create traveler-first copy across mobile, web, and email—helping improve features like Trips, Explore, Flex Dates, and Price Alerts
- Support onboarding experiences by writing helpful and human-centric copy for walkthroughs, tooltips, and modals
- Collaborate closely with product, design, marketing, and localization teams to ensure clarity and consistency across global audiences
- Use research and A/B testing to optimize messages and improve user engagement
- Help scale the UX writing practice by building a messaging library and supporting documentation
What They're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in UX writing, product content design, or a related field
- Strong portfolio with examples of digital copy that improves user experience
- Native-level English fluency
- Ability to align copy with established brand voice
- Comfortable collaborating remotely and working asynchronously
- Experience with Figma, CMS tools, Jira, localization systems, or similar
- Experience in travel, e-commerce, or data-driven products is a plus
- Available 10–20 hours per week, with flexibility to increase
Example Projects You Might Work On
- Improve onboarding messages for calendar sync and notifications in the Trips feature
- Refine copy for the Explore and Flex Dates tools
- Collaborate on structuring product benefit messaging
- Contribute to a scalable, consistent messaging system
