A leading global travel platform is looking for an experienced Senior UX Writer to join their remote team on a freelance basis. This role focuses on shaping how millions of travelers interact with the product—using clear, helpful, and consistent copy across platforms. If you're passionate about crafting content that puts users first and improves the travel experience, this could be a great match.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Create traveler-first copy across mobile, web, and email—helping improve features like Trips, Explore, Flex Dates, and Price Alerts
  • Support onboarding experiences by writing helpful and human-centric copy for walkthroughs, tooltips, and modals
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, marketing, and localization teams to ensure clarity and consistency across global audiences
  • Use research and A/B testing to optimize messages and improve user engagement
  • Help scale the UX writing practice by building a messaging library and supporting documentation

What They're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in UX writing, product content design, or a related field
  • Strong portfolio with examples of digital copy that improves user experience
  • Native-level English fluency
  • Ability to align copy with established brand voice
  • Comfortable collaborating remotely and working asynchronously
  • Experience with Figma, CMS tools, Jira, localization systems, or similar
  • Experience in travel, e-commerce, or data-driven products is a plus
  • Available 10–20 hours per week, with flexibility to increase

Example Projects You Might Work On

  • Improve onboarding messages for calendar sync and notifications in the Trips feature
  • Refine copy for the Explore and Flex Dates tools
  • Collaborate on structuring product benefit messaging
  • Contribute to a scalable, consistent messaging system
