Betterworks is seeking a Senior Web Designer to support the marketing team on a contract basis. This role focuses on designing the user experience and visual elements for the marketing website and digital campaigns. You’ll ensure interactions are engaging, intuitive, on-brand, and optimized for conversions. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, the Creative Director, marketers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead UX and visual design for the marketing website, landing pages, and digital campaigns.
  • Translate marketing goals and brand guidelines into user-focused, high-converting designs.
  • Design responsive layouts and components for desktop and mobile devices.
  • Partner with developers to ensure accurate and efficient implementation of designs.
  • Maintain and evolve a scalable design system.
  • Apply UX best practices, conversion optimization principles, accessibility standards, and SEO-friendly design.
  • Conduct usability testing and iterate based on feedback.
  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Director to maintain a consistent brand experience.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional UX or web design experience, with a portfolio demonstrating marketing websites and landing pages.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Experience designing for conversion optimization and lead generation.
  • Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
  • Experience collaborating with developers to implement designs.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot CMS or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) standards and SEO-friendly design practices.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working with distributed teams.
  • Video editing or motion design experience is a bonus.
