As a Product Designer at User Interviews, you’ll join a cross-functional product pod and play a key role in shaping the end-to-end user experience. From discovery to delivery, you’ll be involved in every stage of the product lifecycle. You'll collaborate closely with engineering, product, data, and marketing to define, design, and deliver meaningful solutions.

You’ll report directly to the Director of Product Design and work within a remote-friendly, feedback-driven, and design-centric culture.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead discovery work to identify and prioritize product opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to understand the broader impact of your design work
  • Design thoughtful, high-quality solutions that improve user experience and meet business goals
  • Conduct and lead evaluative user research with the research team
  • Contribute to and evolve our design system for consistency, accessibility, and quality
  • Advocate for high standards across all aspects of the product experience

Who You Are

  • Comfortable working independently while staying collaborative
  • Share early ideas and iterate based on team feedback
  • Confident defending design decisions, but open to being challenged
  • Pragmatic: embrace constraints and know when to push boundaries
  • Curious by nature and eager to continuously learn
  • Able to zoom between high-level thinking and detailed execution
  • Experienced leading larger design initiatives and long-term projects

Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of experience in a Product Design or UX role
  • Strong portfolio of responsive web app design
  • Skilled in Figma (or equivalent tools like Sketch or XD)
  • Experience with user research and leveraging insights to inform design
  • Clear, effective communicator (written and verbal)
  • Familiarity with modern frontend technologies and how they impact design decisions
  • Experienced working with and contributing to a design system
  • Previous experience in SaaS or enterprise environments
  • Bachelor's degree in UX Design or related field
  • Must be located in the U.S. and authorized to work without visa sponsorship

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with Continuous Discovery
  • Knowledge of WCAG and mobile-first design
  • Experience in front-end development
  • Prior contributions to internal design systems
