Honeywell is looking for a Senior UX Designer to create end-to-end user experiences across all customer touchpoints for our Industrial Automation products. You will apply human-centered design principles to ensure our applications and products are not only functional and usable but also engaging and intuitive.
In this role, you’ll contribute to global digital products, helping to define seamless, branded experiences across platforms. You’ll collaborate with interaction designers, industrial designers, researchers, engineers, and product managers to craft user experiences that drive the next generation of Honeywell solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Design wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Deliver high-fidelity UI designs that align with brand standards and enhance usability.
- Define user interactions, transitions, and feedback to create seamless experiences.
- Identify and track success metrics to ensure designs deliver real value.
- Build and maintain design systems and component libraries for consistency and scalability.
- Ensure designs are responsive, accessible, and optimized across devices.
- Conduct user interviews and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and engineers to translate requirements into user-centered solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 2–5+ years of experience in UX Design, Interaction Design, or Human Factors.
- Strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI process and deliverables.
- Experience with Lean UX or Agile design methods.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma; experience with wireframing and prototyping tools.
- Knowledge of design systems and component libraries.
- Experience with responsive design and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- U.S. person requirement: must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or have asylum/refugee status.
Preferred Experience
- Cloud/SaaS design experience.
- Low- to high-fidelity design creation.
- Observational research and usability testing.
- Project scoping, planning, and execution.
- Familiarity with AI interface integration.
