Point of Rental is seeking a Senior UX Designer to lead the modernization of our rental management systems (RMS) into modern, cloud-native SaaS standards. This is a high-impact role where you’ll drive a full UX redesign, working closely with product managers, engineers, stakeholders, and users to deliver intuitive, scalable, and user-centered experiences.
This is a 6-month contract (with potential renewal) reporting to the Director of Product.
What you’ll do
- Lead the UX redesign of core web-based and mobile products.
- Own the customer journey, representing the voice of the user in design decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate solutions.
- Build and maintain a flexible design system to ensure product-wide consistency.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and stakeholders to refine requirements.
- Conduct usability testing to validate and iterate on designs.
- Lead weekly design reviews with stakeholders to gather feedback.
- Balance simplicity, functionality, and aesthetics to deliver best-in-class experiences.
What we’re looking for
- 7–10 years of UX product design experience, with proven success modernizing complex enterprise or B2B SaaS software.
- Strong experience leading UX for large-scale systems.
- Proficiency in Figma and a strong portfolio showcasing process and results.
- Expertise in user-centered design informed by research, data, and usability testing.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working with engineers to ensure seamless design implementation.
- Bonus: Experience using AI in the design process.
