Role Overview

Lead the design of Twilio’s post-sales customer experience for both external customers and internal users. Advocate passionately for users and customers, using a human-centered design approach. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design efficient, lovable products and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • User Advocacy: Understand customer needs and design solutions that unlock potential.
  • Ownership: Drive product vision, deliver high-quality design outcomes, and mentor peers.
  • Prioritization: Work closely with stakeholders and engineers to address the most critical problems efficiently.
  • Collaboration & Feedback: Foster an open, inclusive design culture; participate in critiques and provide constructive feedback.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven user-centered design process including research, prototyping, testing, and collaboration.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing beautiful, usable designs with technical product thinking.
  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • Empathy for users and a focus on seamless experiences.
  • Detail-oriented design delivery aligned with development.
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

Desired Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant design experience and/or related degree (HCI or Design preferred).
  • Experience with design systems and UI tools such as Figma.
  • Strong communication skills, able to challenge and align stakeholders.

Compensation

  • Salary Range (British Columbia): CAD 142,800 – CAD 178,500

Travel

  • Approximately 5-10% travel to foster in-person connections.
