Kraken is looking for a Staff Product Designer to lead the design of some of the most important experiences across its flagship crypto platform.

As a Staff Product Designer, you'll help define the future of digital finance by creating intuitive, scalable, and visually outstanding product experiences used by millions of customers around the globe.
This is a high-impact individual contributor role where you'll influence product strategy, design direction, and the evolution of Kraken's design system.
What you'll do
As a Staff Product Designer, you'll lead complex initiatives from strategy through execution while collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Defining the design vision for key product areas across the Kraken platform.
- Designing elegant user experiences for complex financial and crypto products.
- Creating high-quality mobile-first interfaces and interactive prototypes.
- Evolving Kraken's design system and visual language to ensure consistency at scale.
- Partnering with Product Managers, Engineers, and company leadership to shape product strategy.
- Leading cross-functional initiatives and driving alignment across teams.
- Mentoring fellow designers through feedback, design critiques, and collaboration.
- Using customer research, product analytics, and experimentation to continuously improve user experiences.
What they're looking for
You'll likely be a great fit if you have:
- 7+ years of Product Design experience.
- An exceptional portfolio showcasing high-impact product work, particularly for mobile applications.
- Strong UX, visual design, and interaction design skills.
- Experience leading design across large-scale, complex products.
- Advanced prototyping abilities.
- Experience contributing to or scaling design systems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A data-informed, user-centered approach to product design.
- Experience designing financial or trading products is a plus.
