Help craft the visual identity of a PlayStation Studios game
Media Molecule, the award-winning PlayStation Studio behind LittleBigPlanet, Tearaway, and Dreams, is looking for a UI Artist to join its UI/UX team on a six-month contract.
You'll help create the visual language that players interact with every day—from icons and in-game branding to interface graphics that make the game world feel cohesive and alive.
Working alongside UI designers, artists, engineers, and brand specialists, you'll contribute to a polished player experience while maintaining consistency across the game's visual identity.
What makes this role interesting?
Rather than focusing only on interface layouts, this position combines graphic design, game branding, and UI art.
You'll create assets that become part of the game's world, helping reinforce its style while ensuring interfaces remain intuitive and visually engaging.

Expect to:
- Design icons and other interface assets.
- Create branded elements that fit naturally within the game's universe.
- Collaborate with UI, Art, Design, and Engineering teams.
- Help maintain visual consistency across the user interface.

You'll probably be a great fit if you...
- Have strong Illustrator and Photoshop skills.
- Understand visual hierarchy and UI design fundamentals.
- Enjoy solving design problems with clean, elegant solutions.
- Can explain and present your ideas clearly.
- Work well independently while collaborating across disciplines.
Bonus points if you have experience with:
- Game UI design.
- Figma design systems.
- Motion graphics or After Effects.
