Nexus Studios is a global creative studio known for its work across animation, live-action, and immersive media. Our projects have been recognized by BAFTA, the Emmys, Cannes Lions, and more. We collaborate with leading cultural brands and continue to explore the boundaries of storytelling and emerging technologies.

The Role
We’re hiring a UI Designer to support the development of a next-generation immersive sports platform. You will work closely with the UI Design Lead to scale and refine a modular visual design system, contributing to both product and client-facing assets.

This role involves producing clean, spec-accurate visuals for interface components and high-fidelity materials for demos and presentations. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team focused on building intuitive and engaging digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver UI modules using an existing design system to support new features and viewing modes.
  • Export and organize graphic assets, ensuring clarity and consistency across formats and devices.
  • Collaborate with the Demo and Brand Team to create visuals for client walkthroughs, presentations, and pitch decks.
  • Maintain organized libraries of reusable design assets for both product and marketing use.
  • Work with the Design Lead to ensure visual cohesion across the platform and associated materials.
  • Manage versioning and asset priorities in a multi-output production pipeline.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in UI design for digital products.
  • Strong attention to visual detail and ability to follow specs accurately.
  • Proven experience organizing and managing modular design assets.
  • Proficiency in Figma and other standard design tools.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Comfortable taking direction and working independently when needed.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments or across multiple output formats.

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing for immersive (XR), spatial, or 3D environments.
  • Interest in sports, fan engagement platforms, or live events.
  • Ability to contribute to marketing and brand deliverables alongside product work.

Why Join Nexus Studios
This is a Nexus-led role embedded within a collaborative, partner-facing environment. You’ll help shape the way fans interact with sports in immersive environments—from navigation and controls to the overall user experience.

If you’re interested in building forward-thinking design systems that blend product, storytelling, and emerging tech, we’d love to hear from you.

Nexus Studios is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome individuals of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences. Our recruitment is based on skills and potential, ensuring fair access and equal opportunity for all applicants.
