Gravity Well is looking for a passionate UI/UX Artist to help shape the visual and interactive experience of our games. Whether you're analyzing the flow of your favorite games or crafting elegant, intuitive interfaces, you'll fit right in with our team. You'll play a key role in designing engaging, player-focused UI—from wireframes to in-game implementation in Unreal Engine.
This is a high-impact role ideal for artists who thrive in collaborative environments and bring strong visual and interaction design skills.
What You’ll Do
- Design the overall look and feel of in-game UI, focusing on visual hierarchy, typography, layout, and animation
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and final visual assets for menus, HUDs, and player flows
- Build intuitive and accessible player experiences by organizing and structuring information effectively
- Collaborate across disciplines (design, engineering, art) to ensure quality and consistency
- Support UX strategy and feature implementation across player journeys—from game launch to session end
- Implement UI functionality using text-based scripting within Unreal
What You’ll Bring
- Strong graphic design skills: composition, typography, color, etc.
- A solid grasp of UX principles and how to create smooth, intuitive experiences
- Experience with UI animation and transitions
- Ability to work independently from early concepts to final implementation
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine and tools like Photoshop, Figma, Sketch, or relevant 3D software
- Bonus: scripting knowledge for UI functionality
Compensation
We offer competitive, transparent pay based on experience and level:
- UI/UX Artist: $100,000–$125,000
- Senior UI/UX Artist: $125,000–$175,000
- Principal UI/UX Artist: $175,000–$200,000
Rates may be adjusted for local currency equivalents. All roles include profit sharing and equity.

Location
Remote within the United States or Canada.
