Role Overview

We are seeking a UI/UX Design Lead to support and guide our design team. This role combines hands-on design with leadership responsibilities, focusing on high-quality project delivery, mentoring, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from research and discovery through to delivery, ensuring client-ready outcomes.
  • Review and refine design work, offering constructive feedback and hands-on support when needed.
  • Mentor and guide UI/UX Designers, helping maintain high design standards.
  • Prepare and review client deliverables, including presentation materials.
  • Organize workflows, design files, and documentation for clarity and efficiency.
  • Validate design estimates, communicate priorities, and support project planning.
  • Oversee creation and implementation of design systems across projects.
  • Foster collaboration through workshops, guidelines, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional digital design experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role (agency or product team).
  • Strong UI/UX skills combined with the ability to guide, mentor, and inspire designers.
  • Experience leading projects from research to delivery, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Skilled in conducting design reviews and setting clear quality standards.
  • Proven experience building and managing design systems.
  • Strong organizational skills in workflows, documentation, and design operations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with PMs and developers.
  • Confident in preparing and presenting client-facing deliverables.
  • Strong written English; spoken fluency preferred.
  • Based within a 2-hour timezone overlap with CET.
