Reflex Media is hiring a UI/UX Designer to shape the digital experience of Seeking.com, a premium dating platform focused on helping people build meaningful connections.
This role combines consumer product design, user psychology, interaction design, AI-powered workflows and data-driven experimentation. You'll design experiences across web, iOS and Android, helping members discover connections, communicate and navigate the platform with confidence.
The company is looking for someone with exceptional visual design skills, strong systems thinking and a deep understanding of how emotions influence user behavior.
You'll work directly with senior leadership, including the Co-CEOs and Head of Product, and collaborate with engineers and product managers to turn research and ideas into measurable improvements.
The position is fully remote within the United States, although occasional travel to Las Vegas is required.
About Reflex Media & Seeking.com
Reflex Media is the company behind Seeking.com, a premium online dating platform headquartered in Las Vegas.
Seeking.com operates at the intersection of technology, consumer psychology and human connection, with a focus on creating digital experiences that help people discover and build relationships.
Unlike many traditional software products, dating platforms involve deeply personal decisions. Trust, confidence, anticipation and emotional engagement all influence how people interact with the product.
For the design team, that means creating experiences that are not only functional and intuitive but also emotionally engaging.
What you'll be working on
You'll design and improve key experiences throughout the Seeking.com member journey.
Your work will cover multiple areas of the platform, including:
- Onboarding and account creation.
- Profile creation and personalization.
- Member discovery and matching.
- Messaging and communication.
- Subscription and payment experiences.
- Identity verification and trust-related interactions.
- AI-assisted profile creation.
- Mobile and web interaction patterns.
You'll be embedded in a cross-functional product team responsible for specific areas of the customer journey.
Each team is evaluated using product metrics such as registrations, engagement and purchases, so your work will have a direct connection to business and user outcomes.
User research & customer understanding
Seeking.com places significant emphasis on understanding how members actually use the platform.
You'll spend time investigating user behavior, identifying friction and learning what motivates people to take action.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting interviews with members.
- Reviewing session recordings.
- Analyzing customer support feedback.
- Collaborating with user testing groups.
- Validating new concepts before release.
- Identifying usability issues and unmet needs.
- Translating research into practical design improvements.
The company wants designers who can move beyond assumptions and use real customer insights to inform their decisions.
Your portfolio should demonstrate how understanding users has influenced your design process and improved product experiences.
Emotional & interaction design
A distinctive aspect of this position is the focus on designing for emotion.
Seeking.com wants interfaces that create excitement, communicate trust and encourage meaningful engagement.
You'll explore how visual design and interaction patterns can influence the way members experience the platform.
This includes:
- Purposeful motion and animation.
- Fluid transitions between screens.
- Video and rich media interactions.
- Clear visual feedback.
- Engaging onboarding experiences.
- Thoughtful microinteractions.
- Rewarding progress indicators.
- Carefully designed moments of discovery.
At the same time, practical tasks such as account settings, payments and verification should remain simple and efficient.
The challenge is knowing when an experience benefits from additional visual richness and when simplicity creates a better result.
Systems thinking & complete user journeys
Reflex Media is looking for someone who can think beyond individual screens.
You'll need to understand how different parts of the product connect and anticipate what happens when users take unexpected actions.
This involves designing:
- Complete user flows.
- Empty and loading states.
- Error messages and recovery paths.
- Alternative interaction scenarios.
- Conditional user journeys.
- Consistent navigation patterns.
- Reusable interface components.
- Accessible and predictable interactions.
You'll work within the existing design system and extend it when new components or patterns are needed.
Strong attention to detail will be important, particularly when preparing designs for engineering implementation.
AI-powered product design & prototyping
AI is an important part of Seeking.com's product development process.
The company expects designers to use agentic AI tools as part of their everyday workflow, not simply as occasional productivity aids.
You'll use tools such as:
- Claude.
- Claude Code.
- Cursor.
- Comparable AI-powered development and prototyping tools.
These technologies will help you explore design directions, build prototypes and move from concepts to testable experiences more quickly.
You'll also contribute to the team's AI-assisted design workflows and help establish reusable approaches that improve productivity.
One potential product experience involves AI-guided profile creation, replacing traditional lengthy forms with more conversational interactions.
The company expects candidates to demonstrate practical AI tool fluency during the interview process.
Rapid prototyping & experimentation
You'll be encouraged to test ideas quickly rather than spending long periods refining concepts without user feedback.
Prototypes may be created using:
- Figma.
- Framer.
- v0.
- Lovable.
- Cursor.
- Code-based prototyping approaches.
The goal is to put ideas in front of real members within days, learn from their responses and refine the experience.
You'll work closely with product and engineering colleagues to turn validated concepts into production-ready solutions.
Data-driven product improvement
Your design decisions will be informed by both qualitative research and quantitative product data.
You'll work with your product team to understand how design changes affect user behavior.
Relevant metrics may include:
- Onboarding completion.
- Account registrations.
- Profile completion.
- Member engagement.
- Discovery interactions.
- Messaging activity.
- Subscription conversions.
- Purchase behavior.
Experience with analytics platforms such as Amplitude, Mixpanel or Firebase will be valuable.
You'll help measure the impact of released features and use those findings to guide future improvements.

Reflex Media is seeking a designer with a strong portfolio of consumer-facing digital products and the ability to combine visual craft with strategic thinking.
The main requirements include:

- Experience with components, auto layout, design tokens and shared libraries.
- Strong understanding of complete user journeys and edge cases.
- Practical experience conducting or applying user research.
- Daily experience using AI tools such as Claude or Claude Code.
- Technical understanding sufficient to guide AI-assisted implementation.
- Familiarity with product analytics and engagement metrics.

The following experience would strengthen your application:
- Previous work on dating or social networking products.

- Frontend knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Ability to implement small frontend improvements.
- Experience organizing customer beta testing programs.
- Publicly available design work or interactive prototypes.
- A degree in design, human-computer interaction or a related discipline.
Reflex Media emphasizes portfolio quality and practical experience over formal qualifications alone.
Strengthen your AI product design skills
Seeking.com expects designers to use Claude, Claude Code, Cursor and other AI-powered tools to prototype faster, explore solutions and contribute to AI-assisted product experiences.
For product designers looking to develop these capabilities, Designlab's AI Product Design Certification offers structured training focused on applying AI to the product design process.
The program is particularly relevant for designers interested in AI-assisted workflows, rapid prototyping and designing products that incorporate AI-powered interactions.
