Hellotext helps eCommerce brands in Latin America increase sales using WhatsApp and SMS. We’re a lean, profitable, fully remote team growing quickly, and we’re looking for a product designer who cares deeply about user experience and clean interfaces.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own end-to-end product design using Figma: from wireframes to polished UI and interactive prototypes
- Conduct lightweight UX research like user interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis
- Maintain and improve our design system (typography, components, iconography)
- Work closely with Ruby on Rails engineers to implement your designs with precision
- Design micro-interactions and subtle animations that enhance user experience
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience designing digital products (SaaS, eCommerce, or B2B tools)
- A portfolio on Behance or Dribbble showing strong UX thinking and clean, modern UI
- Advanced skills in Figma (Auto Layout, variables, components, prototyping)
- A product mindset—you're focused on impact, not just pixel-perfection
- Excellent written communication in English (Spanish is a plus, but not required)

Nice to Have
- Motion design experience (Smart Animate, After Effects, Lottie, etc.)
- Basic Ruby on Rails or ERB knowledge
- Familiarity with LATAM audiences or eCommerce platforms
