UI/UX Designer

WiserAdvisor is seeking a part-time contract UI/UX Designer to elevate the experience across our platforms—especially Indyfin, a reputation-building solution for financial advisors and RIA firms. Your work will directly shape how advisors connect with clients through intuitive, elegant, and conversion-driven interfaces.

What You’ll Do
UX/UI Design Execution

• Translate user needs and business goals into clean, modern UI designs
• Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes
• Design new features and iterate on existing ones using feedback and metrics
• Maintain design consistency across all screens and components

User Research & Feedback

• Conduct interviews, surveys, and usability testing
• Analyze feedback to identify pain points and improve UX
• Work with the product team to prioritize impactful improvements

Collaboration & Workflow

• Partner with developers to ensure accurate design implementation
• Contribute to and refine our design system and style guide

What They’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design (ideally with B2B or SaaS products)
• A strong portfolio showcasing UX thinking and clean UI execution
• Proficiency in Figma
• Experience conducting user research and applying insights to design
• Ability to manage time across multiple projects
• Strong communication and presentation skills

Bonus Skills

• Experience in the financial services or RIA/advisor space
• Design experience with lead gen or review-based platforms
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS (not required)

Contract Details

• Type: Part-time, Contract
• Hours: 15–20 hours/week (flexible)
• Duration: 1-month initial contract (with possible extension)

• Location: Open, but must have some overlap with US Eastern Time
