Help design digital services used across the public sector
Version 1 is hiring a UI/UX Designer to create user-centred digital experiences for public sector and utilities projects in Ireland.
Working alongside Product Managers, Developers, and stakeholders, you'll design accessible, intuitive web and mobile applications while contributing to design systems that ensure consistency across products.
What you'll do
As a UI/UX Designer, you'll be involved throughout the product design process, from research to final interface design.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing user-centred experiences for web and mobile applications.
- Creating wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Conducting user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver consistent user experiences.
- Developing and maintaining design systems and UI guidelines.
- Ensuring products meet accessibility, usability, and responsive design standards.
- Using user feedback and analytics to continuously improve the experience.
- Keeping up to date with design trends and best practices.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong knowledge of UX and UI design principles.
- Experience with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar design tools.
- Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and polished interface designs.
- Understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Excellent visual design skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams.
