Insomniac Games — creators of Spider-Man, Ratchet & Clank, and other award-winning titles — is looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer to help craft world-class player experiences for their next generation of games.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with a top-tier design team to create intuitive, accessible, and visually stunning interfaces that empower players to explore, connect, and enjoy every moment.
What You’ll Do
- Design AAA-quality in-game HUDs and menu systems
- Work across all stages of development — from prototypes to polished final interfaces
- Collaborate with artists, designers, developers, and researchers to deliver accessible and cohesive player experiences
- Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that bring clarity and engagement
- Implement assets in-game, ensuring usability and visual consistency
- Communicate proactively with leads and producers to stay aligned with project goals
- Advocate for accessibility and player-first design principles
- Contribute to improving UI/UX standards and workflows across the studio
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design or related fields
- Strong proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools
- Deep understanding of interaction design principles and UX patterns
- A genuine passion for games, accessibility, and player advocacy
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience designing UI/UX systems for AAA games
- Familiarity with game engines and implementation workflows
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript
