Design digital experiences that support science and engineering

M&S Consulting is hiring a UI/UX Designer to create intuitive digital experiences for enterprise and government clients working on scientific and engineering initiatives.

This role blends product design with visual communication, offering the chance to work on websites, digital tools, interactive experiences, and supporting print materials. If you enjoy simplifying complex information and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, this could be a great fit.

What you'll do

You'll help turn technical concepts into clear, user-friendly experiences while maintaining high visual standards across digital and print.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing user-centered websites, digital tools, and interactive experiences.
  • Creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
  • Translating complex technical information into intuitive visual systems.
  • Collaborating with scientists, engineers, writers, and designers throughout projects.
  • Maintaining consistency across design systems and visual assets.
  • Supporting additional graphic design work for print and environmental applications when needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience creating and maintaining design systems.
  • A strong understanding of UI, UX, and information architecture principles.
  • Excellent visual design, typography, and layout skills.
  • Experience designing for both digital and print.
  • The ability to communicate complex or technical concepts through design.
  • Strong attention to detail and production-ready design skills.
