UI/UX Designer

Machine intelligence is reshaping how knowledge is created, stored, and shared. What began in the 1990s with search engines off-loading decision-making is now evolving into vast neural networks—compressing knowledge into artificial neurons.

At Gensyn, we’re building the open, permissionless, and neutral protocols that power this future. Starting with compute hardware, the Gensyn protocol connects the core infrastructure required for machine intelligence to grow alongside human intelligence.

The Role

We’re looking for a Product Designer to help craft intuitive, human-centered interfaces that bring Gensyn’s distributed compute protocol to life. You’ll work closely with engineering and product teams to turn complex, technical systems into simple, seamless experiences for researchers, compute providers, and developers.

You’ll play a key role in shaping product surfaces, evolving our multi-product design system, and refining web3 interaction patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead user research to uncover insights and shape user journeys.
• Design user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma.
• Run usability tests and iterate quickly based on findings.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure fidelity between design and implementation.
• Own and evolve Gensyn’s design system and web3 interaction patterns.
• Design web3-specific flows, such as wallet connections, approvals, and deposits.
• Advocate for accessibility, clarity, and design consistency across all touchpoints.

Requirements

Must have:

• 3+ years of UX or product design experience shipping production web applications.
• Strong portfolio showing end-to-end design process.
• Deep understanding of usability, accessibility, and user-centered design.
• Fluency in Figma (or equivalent design tools).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfort working in fast-moving, high-autonomy environments.

Preferred:

• Experience designing for Web3 products.
• Familiarity with analytics-driven iteration and experimentation.
• Understanding of frontend development (HTML, CSS, JS).
• Experience building or maintaining design systems across multiple product surfaces.

Nice to have:

• Interest in distributed systems, machine learning infrastructure, or cryptography.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding or prototyping tools (e.g., Cursor, Codex, Claude Code, Figma Make).
