Position Overview:
As a UI/UX Designer, you’ll be responsible for designing and visualizing applications across multiple platforms, including web, desktop, AR, VR, and apps. This highly creative role involves taking conceptual wireframes and transforming them into high-fidelity, intuitive final designs. You’ll work closely with leadership, product managers, engineers, and clients to balance functional user experience and design, ensuring users have the best possible experience.
Responsibilities:
- Design and create engaging user interfaces across various platforms, ensuring excellent user experiences.
- Collaborate with leadership, product managers, engineers, and other designers.
- Take conceptual wireframes and develop them into high-fidelity, intuitive designs.
- Develop prototypes and design assets that clearly communicate design concepts.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to identify pain points and enhance the user experience.
Skills and Software:
- Passion for UI/UX design with a strong ability to articulate design concepts.
- Solid understanding of visual hierarchy, layout design, and usability principles.
- Expertise in Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Zeplin.
- Familiarity with Google Slides.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with After Effects and Figma.
- Previous agency or marketing experience.
Other Requirements:
- An updated portfolio showcasing your UI/UX skills in digital products.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Knowledge of information architecture.
- Experience using Jira.
Additional Information:
- Remote work is accepted within the U.S. (Zoic is based in Los Angeles).
- The position is project-based, with an expected start date of July 2025.
- Pay range: $40/hr – $50/hr (DOE).
- US Citizenship is required, and you may need to obtain a DoD clearance or government customer access post-offer.
