Xplor Technologies is looking for a UI/UX Designer to join the team behind Momence, a software platform used by thousands of fitness, wellness and experience-based businesses.
You'll work across the complete product design process — from understanding user problems and conducting research to creating flows, prototypes and polished interfaces.
It's a broad UX/UI role for someone who enjoys combining research, interaction design, information architecture and visual design rather than specializing in only one part of the process.
Design experiences used by real businesses
Momence provides software for businesses including:
- Yoga and fitness studios
- Dance schools
- Wellness centers
- Salons
- Golf facilities
- Other membership-based businesses
The platform supports more than 5,500 businesses and hundreds of thousands of end users each month.
As a designer, you'll help make those digital experiences easier and more intuitive for the people using them to manage and interact with these businesses.
Start with the user
You'll conduct research to understand how people use the product, what they're trying to accomplish and where they encounter friction.
That means working with both qualitative and quantitative information to identify:
- User needs
- Behaviors
- Pain points
- Usability problems
- Opportunities for improvement
You'll then translate those findings into design decisions and iterate based on user feedback and usability testing.
Xplor is looking for someone who understands user-centered design as a process, rather than simply applying UX principles at the interface stage.
Take ideas from flows to finished UI
You'll work across different levels of fidelity as product ideas develop.
Your responsibilities can include creating:
- User flows
- Wireframes
- Sitemaps
- Navigation systems
- Interaction flows
- Prototypes
- High-fidelity interfaces
- Graphics and iconography
Information architecture is also important. You'll need to determine how complex information should be structured so users can navigate the product naturally.
On the UI side, you'll turn those structures into visually polished interfaces that remain consistent with the wider product and brand.
Help the design system scale
You'll contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems, reusable patterns and design guidelines.
The goal is not simply consistency. A strong system should also help designers and developers work faster while reducing unnecessary design decisions across the product.
Experience with Figma, Sketch or comparable professional design tools is expected.
Want to take your Figma skills further?
Designlab's Advanced Figma course is designed for experienced designers who want to build more sophisticated and scalable workflows in Figma.
For designers targeting product roles like this one, its focus on areas such as components, Auto Layout, prototyping and scalable design practices can be particularly relevant.

Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering
Design at Momence is highly cross-functional.
You'll work with:
- Product managers
- Developers
- Business stakeholders
- Other members of the product organization
You'll need to explain the reasoning behind your designs, gather feedback and help teams reach decisions that balance user needs with product and technical requirements.
The relationship with Engineering continues through implementation. You'll support developers with clarification and design guidance to make sure the final experience reflects the original intent.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS and front-end development principles is valuable because it helps you understand implementation constraints and communicate more effectively with engineers.
Work iteratively
Momence operates in an Agile product environment.
Rather than treating designs as finished artifacts that are handed over to Engineering, you'll work iteratively with the wider team as requirements, feedback and technical considerations evolve.
Strong candidates will be comfortable:
- Exploring multiple solutions
- Presenting design rationale
- Receiving feedback
- Testing ideas
- Iterating quickly
- Solving unexpected design problems
- Working closely with developers
Attention to detail remains important throughout that process, particularly when moving designs toward production.
What Xplor is looking for
Candidates should have approximately 3+ years of experience in UX/UI Design, Product Design or a similar discipline.
You'll need a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to solve UX problems and produce high-quality interface design.
Relevant skills include:
- UX Design
- UI Design
- Product Design
- User Research
- Usability Testing
- Interaction Design
- Information Architecture
- Visual Design
- Wireframing
- Prototyping
- Design Systems
- Figma or Sketch
- HTML/CSS fundamentals
- Agile product development
You should also be comfortable presenting your work and explaining why you've made particular design decisions.
Fluent English is required because it's used for everyday communication across the organization.
About Momence and Xplor
Momence was founded in 2020 and later graduated from Y Combinator, raising an $11 million Series A.
The company develops software for experience and membership-driven businesses and joined Xplor Technologies in 2025.
That gives the team a combination of a relatively young product environment and the resources of a much larger global technology organization.
Across its broader ecosystem, Xplor says its technology is used by more than 130,000 businesses across 72+ countries, processing over $47 billion in payments annually.
Location and eligibility
The position is advertised as remote, but applicants must already have legal authorization to work in the country associated with the position.
Xplor does not provide visa sponsorship, either when someone is initially hired or later during their employment.
Candidates should therefore confirm that their location and existing work authorization satisfy the requirements shown on the application before applying.
For a mid-level designer looking for broad product ownership, this is a strong opportunity to work across research, UX, UI, information architecture and design systems on an established SaaS product with a large real-world user base.
