UI/UX Designer

Hellotext empowers eCommerce brands across Latin America to boost sales through WhatsApp and SMS. We’re a lean, profitable, and fully remote team growing fast—and we’re looking for a designer who shares our passion for exceptional user experiences.

What You’ll Do

• Lead end-to-end product design in Figma: from wireframes to high-fidelity UI and interactive prototypes.
• Conduct quick, lightweight UX research including user interviews, usability tests, and competitor audits.
• Maintain and enhance our Design System — covering typography, components, and iconography.
• Collaborate closely with Ruby on Rails engineers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of your designs.
• Prototype micro-interactions and animations that delight our merchants.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience designing digital products (SaaS, eCommerce, or B2B apps).
• A strong portfolio on Behance or Dribbble that clearly demonstrates your UX thinking and polished UI work.
• Advanced skills in Figma, including Auto Layout, variables, interactive components, and prototyping.
• A product-focused mindset — you prioritize business impact over perfect pixels.
• Excellent written English communication; Spanish is a plus but not required.

Bonus Points For

• Motion design experience (Figma Smart Animate, After Effects, Lottie, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of Ruby on Rails / ERB to tweak views and layouts.
• Experience designing for Latin American audiences or eCommerce platforms.
