This is a strong opportunity for a current student interested in UX design, user research and digital product experiences to gain hands-on experience inside a global healthcare organization.
Rather than focusing only on visual execution, you'll work with designers, researchers and Product Managers to understand customer needs, turn research into insights and contribute ideas that improve real digital experiences.
What You’ll Be Working On
You'll collaborate with Labcorp's UX professionals on projects combining design, research and product thinking.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working alongside UX designers, user researchers and Product Managers
- Contributing design concepts based on user needs and business objectives
- Supporting qualitative and quantitative user research
- Helping plan and analyze research activities
- Gathering insights from customer feedback and research
- Identifying patterns in users' needs, expectations and behaviors
- Helping define customer journeys
- Communicating research findings to product teams
- Presenting and explaining design concepts
- Supporting the development of customer-focused digital experiences
The internship provides exposure to how UX decisions are made within a large organization and how research informs the evolution of digital products.

- Qualitative research methods
- Quantitative data analysis
Knowledge of market research and competitive analysis is also valuable.
You'll need strong written and verbal communication skills and an interest in understanding how people interact with digital products.

You'll join a multidisciplinary team of UX professionals working across a range of Labcorp's digital products and services.
The team contributes expertise across:
- User experience design
- Visual design
- Content design
- User research
- Style-guide development
As an intern, you'll have the opportunity to see how these disciplines work together to create digital experiences within the healthcare sector.
The 2027 Internship Program
This is a 12-week paid internship running from May 24 through August 13, 2027.
Alongside your day-to-day UX work, Labcorp's broader internship program includes professional-development opportunities designed to give students exposure to the organization and its leadership.
These include:
- Enterprise-wide learning sessions
- Exposure to senior leadership
- An in-person intern event
- Senior-leader speaker sessions
- Professional-development activities
- LinkedIn Learning resources
- Networking with other interns
- Mentoring and career-development support
- Opportunities to engage with Labcorp's employee resource groups
Compensation
The stated pay range is:
$23–$28 per hour
The final rate will depend on factors including relevant experience, education, certifications, internal equity and market data.
The internship is scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
This position does not offer current or future visa sponsorship.
