Trase Systems is looking for a UX Designer who can move comfortably between product design, marketing experiences and visual storytelling.
This is a particularly broad UX role. You'll design AI-powered product experiences, websites, product demos, marketing assets and executive presentations, helping shape both how customers interact with Trase's technology and how the company communicates its products to the market.
For a multidisciplinary designer who enjoys switching between UX problem-solving and polished visual execution, the position offers considerable variety and ownership.
Design Experiences for AI-Powered Products
A major part of the role is designing experiences around Trase's enterprise AI technology and agent-based workflows.
You'll work with Product Managers and Engineers to translate complex requirements into experiences that make sophisticated AI capabilities easier to understand and use.
Your product work will include:
- Designing agent-facing workflows and tools
- Mapping user journeys and UX flows
- Creating wireframes
- Building interactive prototypes
- Developing interaction patterns
- Designing product features and demos
- Improving consistency across product experiences
- Translating technical requirements into understandable interfaces
You'll work from early concepts through polished designs while collaborating directly with the teams responsible for building the product.
Own the Product Demo Experience
Product demos are especially important in this role.
You'll design the UX and visual presentation of demos used to communicate what Trase's technology can do.
That includes creating cohesive demo flows, establishing the right sequence of interactions and making complicated AI functionality understandable to different audiences.
You'll collaborate with Product and Engineering to ensure those demonstrations represent realistic use cases rather than simply presenting isolated features.
Website and Marketing Design
Your responsibilities won't stop at the product interface.
You'll also lead UX and visual-design work for Trase's website and support broader marketing initiatives.
Projects can include:
- Website UX
- Landing pages
- Campaign creative
- Digital marketing assets
- Product announcements
- Event materials
- Promotional graphics
You'll need to maintain a consistent brand experience while adapting your design approach to different audiences and channels.
Executive and Conference Storytelling
Another distinctive part of this position is presentation design.
You'll help Trase's leadership communicate complex ideas through polished visual storytelling, creating materials for both internal and external audiences.
Your work can include:
- Executive presentations
- Conference decks
- Technical presentations
- Event signage
- Demo visuals
- Product storytelling materials
You'll need to combine information hierarchy and visual design with an understanding of the message being communicated.
Work Across Product, Engineering and Marketing
This role involves frequent collaboration with several parts of the organization.
You'll work with:
- Product Managers
- Engineers
- Marketing leads
- Executives
- Other designers
You'll also help maintain and evolve design systems and brand guidelines across both product and marketing experiences.
Because the scope is broad, being able to manage several projects simultaneously and adapt quickly when priorities change will be important.
What Trase Is Looking For
Candidates should have approximately 3–5+ years of UX or Product Design experience, either through full-time positions or contract work.
Your portfolio should demonstrate more than one type of design problem.
Strong candidates will show:
- End-to-end UX thinking
- Product design
- Strong visual design
- Web experiences
- Prototyping
- Presentation or storytelling work
- Experience across multiple digital surfaces
- Ability to explain design decisions clearly
Proficiency with modern design tools is required, with Figma preferred.
A Versatile Designer Will Stand Out
This isn't a narrowly defined UX position.
Trase is particularly interested in designers who can move between product UX and external-facing brand experiences without sacrificing quality.
Experience designing for both Product and Marketing teams is therefore especially relevant.
You'll also need to be comfortable working independently, taking initiative and presenting your thinking to stakeholders.
