Scopely is hiring a UX Designer to join their LiveOps Automation team, part of the Live Games Portfolio. In this role, you'll work on internal tools that support the operation of some of the most engaging mobile games. The team focuses on building scalable, AI-powered systems to help game teams manage campaigns more efficiently and effectively.

Role Overview

You'll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to design experiences that simplify complex workflows. The goal is to make it easier for LiveOps Managers and game teams to launch and manage campaigns across multiple games with minimal friction. This is a hands-on role with ownership over end-to-end design work and a strong strategic component.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the user experience strategy for scalable internal tools.
  • Translate technical requirements and workflows into clear, usable designs.
  • Create and manage a design system that balances consistency with flexibility for different game needs.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and user research with internal stakeholders to inform design decisions.
  • Develop wireframes, flows, prototypes, and documentation to support engineering implementation.
  • Run usability tests and analyze feedback to improve the platform over time.
  • Stay current with UX practices and apply them in a fast-paced, iterative environment.

What They’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of UX experience, ideally in complex systems, internal tools, or enterprise platforms.
  • Strong ability to manage UX architecture across multiple interconnected tools.
  • Experience working closely with cross-functional teams including data, ML, and engineering.
  • Solid background in research, usability testing, and incorporating feedback into design.
  • Proficiency with Figma and collaboration tools like Miro, Notion, and Jira.
  • Clear communicator who can present ideas and influence decisions.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the gaming industry, particularly with LiveOps or F2P titles.
  • Background in tools involving AI, campaign management, or automation.
  • Familiarity with experimentation tools such as A/B testing or analytics dashboards.

Scopely welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
