Methods is hiring a UX Designer to help shape intuitive, inclusive digital services—primarily for the public sector. This is a remote-first position (UK-based), with occasional travel when needed. You’ll work on impactful government and private sector projects that put users at the heart of design.
In this role, you'll:
- Design accessible, responsive user experiences that align with user needs and client objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research, prototype, and test design ideas
- Apply and advocate for GDS/GOV.UK service design standards where appropriate
- Create user journey maps, wireframes, and clickable prototypes
- Support the design community by sharing knowledge and design practices
- Contribute to continuous improvement across design and research methods
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in UX or interaction design
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in tools like Figma, Miro, Notion, and GitHub
- Comfortable working in agile environments
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design
- Knowledge of accessibility best practices and inclusive design
- Familiarity with GDS service standards is a plus
