Anthro-Tech is looking for an experienced UX Designer to join their talented, collaborative team. This is a temporary remote role (W-2) with flexible part-time to full-time hours based on project needs, and the possibility to extend into a longer-term position.

What You’ll Do

As a UX Designer at Anthro-Tech, you’ll craft user-centered design solutions that are both thoughtful and effective. You’ll work alongside business stakeholders, communication specialists, developers, and fellow designers to build usable and engaging websites, mobile apps, kiosks, and other digital products.

Here’s what a typical week might look like:

  • Collaborating with clients and Anthro-Tech consultants to develop customer journey maps
  • Sketching multiple design ideas to share and refine with the team
  • Building interactive wireframe prototypes for usability testing
  • Leading group design sessions to solve complex interaction challenges
  • Offering constructive feedback on presentations and design work
  • Facilitating workshops using design thinking methods to spark innovation

Additional Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams including UX researchers, developers, visual designers, content strategists, and project managers
  • Create infographics, personas, user flows, and compelling presentations
  • Collect and respond to feedback from users and stakeholders, iterating designs accordingly
  • Guide brainstorming sessions and present design concepts to clients with clear rationale

What You Bring

  • Minimum 5 years of professional UX design experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in human-centered design, interaction design, or equivalent relevant experience
  • A strong, diverse portfolio demonstrating skills in sketching, wireframing, prototyping, and multi-platform design
  • Excellent visual and graphic design abilities, capable of adhering to and extending brand guidelines
  • Clear, persuasive communication and presentation skills
  • Solid understanding of human-centered design principles and the design thinking process
  • Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma (or equivalents), Sketch, Miro/Mural, Axure, and MS Office
  • Basic technical knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus
  • Detail-oriented mindset and passion for continuous learning and client impact

Schedule & Work Details

  • Temporary W-2 position, remote, flexible hours from part-time to full-time as needed
  • Contract runs immediately through mid-November 2025, with possible extension
  • Weekly hours assigned in advance (0–40 hours/week) to help with your planning
  • Core collaboration hours typically between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM Pacific Time, with flexibility outside that window

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive hourly pay ranging from $45 to $54 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
  • Paid Time Off accrued with every hour worked, with full-time accrual roughly equal to 15 days annually
  • Limited benefits package available
