Sand Cherry Associates is looking for a UX Designer to work on digital products and customer experiences for one of its consulting engagements.
The position combines traditional UX work — including research, wireframing and prototyping — with strong visual design and the creation of digital and social media assets.
This is a 6-month remote consulting engagement, with the possibility of extension. Candidates must live and be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Design experiences across web and digital platforms
You'll work as part of a broader design team, helping translate user and business requirements into clear, engaging digital experiences.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and improving web and digital experiences
- Creating wireframes and layouts
- Producing UI mockups and prototypes
- Developing user stories and storyboards
- Translating user and business needs into design solutions
- Working within existing design and brand standards
- Iterating on designs based on stakeholder feedback
- Supporting design reviews
- Performing basic design QA before publication
You'll collaborate with senior designers and creative leads rather than operating entirely independently.
UX meets visual and marketing design
This isn't exclusively a product UX position.
Sand Cherry is looking for someone comfortable moving between UX/UI and broader digital creative work.
You'll also create and adapt:
- Social media graphics
- Digital campaign assets
- Web imagery
- Marketing collateral
- Branded visual content
That makes the opportunity particularly relevant for designers with a multidisciplinary portfolio spanning UX, UI and visual design.
Strong typography, imagery, hierarchy and brand consistency will matter alongside usability and interaction design.
Figma + Adobe Creative Suite
You'll need working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, or comparable professional design tools.
Sand Cherry is looking for designers who understand core UX/UI principles including:
- Layout
- Visual hierarchy
- Usability
- Responsive design
- Typography
- Brand consistency
Experience creating digital and social media content is particularly valuable.

Your portfolio is important
