The Project
We’re developing an AI-powered Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform designed for senior and assisted living facilities. Built on Microsoft Azure and leveraging OpenAI services, the platform streamlines workflows, automates documentation, and improves care delivery.
The Role
We’re seeking a UX Designer to lead the design of intuitive, accessible, and engaging experiences across web and tablet interfaces. You’ll work closely with product owners, engineers, and healthcare experts to ensure the platform meets real-world needs.
What You’ll Do
- Design user-centered interfaces for MVP features such as:
- Resident dashboards and health summaries
- Admissions workflows (with PDF ingestion and OCR)
- Medication administration (eMAR) and reconciliation
- Clinical notes and charting templates
- Compliance dashboards and alerts
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Conduct user research and usability testing with clinical and administrative stakeholders.
- Translate complex healthcare workflows into simple, clear UI patterns.
- Collaborate with frontend developers (React or Angular) to ensure design fidelity.
- Contribute to roadmap features including:
- Conversational AI interfaces (Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search)
- Family portals and mobile apps
- Predictive alerts and real-time dashboards
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of UX/UI design experience (healthcare or enterprise SaaS preferred).
- Strong grasp of responsive design and WCAG accessibility standards.
- Experience designing for data-heavy applications and complex workflows.
- Comfortable working in Agile teams.
- Bonus: experience with conversational UI, AI/ML interfaces, or HIPAA-compliant design.
