The Role:
We are looking for a UX Designer to lead the design of Applied Epic, our flagship agency management system. Applied Epic helps agencies manage customer relationships, sales opportunities, financial processes, reporting, policy administration, and more. In this role, you’ll conduct user research, explore requirements, and design solutions that improve usability, efficiency, and engagement.

What You’ll Do:

  • Understand the needs and behaviors of users across our product suite
  • Conduct user research (generative and evaluative) to inform design decisions
  • Recommend interaction designs and UX best practices for new and existing features
  • Create sketches, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
  • Tell the story behind your design decisions to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with product and development teams to implement designs
  • Monitor user engagement and help iterate on solutions based on feedback

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1–2 years of UX design experience, preferably in software or commercial products
  • Proficiency in UX research and prototyping tools (Figma, Balsamiq, Miro, etc.)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work 100% remotely (U.S. based) or from an Applied Systems office

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience in the insurance industry or with insurance software
  • Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or emerging technologies
  • Willingness to learn and adapt quickly

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
