Join a fast-moving platform that eliminates data access delays for AI and high-performance computing workflows. Our Data Platform offers a high-throughput, low-latency, globally-distributed file system — accessible via pNFS, NFSv3, SMB and S3 — and deploys instantly and agent-free, with native Linux support and migration-free data assimilation. The result: GPUs stay fully utilised, time-to-insight is accelerated, and researchers and developers are more productive than ever.

What you’ll do

  • Lead UX design for features across multiple product modules — from concept through delivery, developing wireframes, mockups, prototypes and detailed design specs.
  • Transform technical and business requirements into intuitive, scalable user interfaces that support complex workflows, rich data visualisations and role-based access.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers and stakeholders to define user problems, propose solutions, iterate based on feedback and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing and heuristic evaluations to validate design choices and continuously enhance user workflows.
  • Design interfaces in compliance with accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG), ensuring our products are usable by people with disabilities.
  • Advocate for user-centred design and accessibility throughout the organisation, helping maintain and evolve our design system and guidelines.

Who you are

  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Cognitive Science or a related field.
  • You bring at least 5 years of UX design experience, including a minimum of 3 years focused on enterprise or storage-software platforms.
  • Your portfolio demonstrates work on complex applications, with clear evidence of strong usability, information architecture and accessibility awareness.
  • You’re proficient in modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or Axure.
  • You understand frontend fundamentals (HTML, CSS, ARIA roles) and can partner with developers to ensure design feasibility and accessibility.
  • You’ve planned and executed user research, usability testing or stakeholder interviews in past roles.

Preferred experience

  • Experience in the storage-software domain.
  • Experience designing dashboards, administrative UIs, permissions/granular-access systems.
  • Hands-on experience with accessibility evaluation tools such as axe, WAVE or Lighthouse.
