This job is curated by UX Remote Talent from external sources. We are not affiliated with the employer.

RainFocus is hiring a UX Designer to help shape the future of its enterprise event management platform.

In this remote role, you'll work closely with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to explore new product opportunities, conduct customer research, and build interactive prototypes.

Unlike a traditional UX position, this role combines user experience design with product discovery, business strategy, and market validation. You'll help determine which product ideas are worth pursuing before significant development resources are committed.

You'll also use AI-assisted prototyping tools to accelerate experimentation and turn early concepts into testable experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead customer discovery through interviews, workshops, usability testing, and concept validation.
  • Transform business ideas into clear hypotheses, research plans, and testable prototypes.
  • Create interactive prototypes and proof-of-concept experiences using AI-assisted tools.
  • Apply UX principles, information architecture, and interaction design to product concepts.
  • Evaluate customer demand, adoption potential, pricing, and business value.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
  • Present research findings and evidence-based recommendations to leadership.
  • Coordinate a small cross-functional team and establish efficient discovery workflows.
  • Ensure exploratory prototypes are clearly distinguished from production-ready solutions.
  • Support go/no-go decisions based on customer evidence and market validation.

Requirements

  • Strong UX and Product Design fundamentals, supported by a portfolio or examples of shipped products.
  • Hands-on experience conducting customer research and product discovery.
  • Proficiency in rapid prototyping, including AI-assisted design and development tools.
  • Understanding of business strategy, market validation, pricing, and ROI.
  • Product management experience or equivalent skills in prioritization and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to communicate directly with customers, prospects, and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical thinking and confidence making evidence-based recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across multiple teams.
  • Must be based in the United States.

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing B2B SaaS or enterprise software products.
  • Familiarity with working alongside developers in an active codebase.
  • Experience leading small teams without formal management authority.

Salary and Benefits

RainFocus offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:

  • Competitive salary (amount not disclosed).
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Generous paid time off.
  • Remote working within the United States.
  • Team-building activities and professional collaboration.
  • Opportunities to work on products supporting major global events.
