This role is ideal for an early-career designer who wants to work on AI-driven user experiences—ranging from chatbots to internal tools—and learn directly from senior designers. You’ll explore UX patterns for AI, contribute to new product ideas, and support the design of enterprise features used across PTC’s product ecosystem.
What You’ll Work On
UX Design (Majority of your time)
- Help create UX deliverables such as user flows, interaction patterns, prototypes, and visual designs
- Participate in requirements gathering and use-case definition
- Support consistency and usability across PTC products
- Assist in documenting guidelines and standards for AI-related features
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Join design critiques and reviews with product and engineering teams
- Provide input that improves shared workflows and user experience
Team Culture & Learning
- Participate in design rituals, mentorship opportunities, and team activities
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive design culture
What You Bring
- Understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and user-centered design practices
- Familiarity with design systems and basic front-end concepts
- Ability to collaborate effectively while also working independently
- Strong organization and time-management across multiple tasks
- Attention to detail and quality in design execution
- Interest in emerging technologies—especially AI and its impact on enterprise software
Experience Requirements
- 1–3 years of UX design experience
- Experience designing for web, mobile, or desktop applications
- Ability to define and document UX requirements or interaction specifications
- Portfolio demonstrating your process and design work
- Understanding of design thinking, usability best practices, and accessibility fundamentals
- Comfortable working with designers, developers, and product managers in an iterative process
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in UX, Human Factors, or a related field
- Sharable portfolio of UX work
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated salary range: $87,800 – $113,250, depending on experience, location, and qualifications
- Eligible for performance bonuses
