We’re hiring a Lead UX Designer to shape the future of Wordscapes, our flagship word puzzle game. This is a strategic, hands-on role where you’ll own the full UX process—from wireframes to launch—while collaborating with cross-functional teams across design, product, art, engineering, and research.
What You’ll Do
- Lead UX design for Wordscapes, from concept to implementation
- Define user flows, features, and systems that are intuitive and fun
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and clear documentation
- Collaborate with UI, art, and engineering for a seamless experience
- Use player data and playtests to improve usability
- Run UX reviews and usability tests
- Mentor junior designers and shape team UX standards
- Align user needs with business goals
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in UX for mobile games or interactive apps
- 2+ years in a senior or lead role
- Strong in wireframing, interaction design, and prototyping
- Experience working in Unity or similar game engines
- Clear communicator who can explain UX choices across teams
- Passion for creating player-centered mobile experiences
- Comfortable balancing business goals with player needs
- Skilled in usability testing and data-informed design
Bonus Points
- Experience with puzzle, word, or casual games
- Background in ad-monetized game UX
- Familiarity with Unity UI system
Location
Remote within the US. Candidates must reside in:

- Base salary: $120,000 – $170,000 (based on experience & location)
