Role Overview
QuillBot is looking for a UX Operations and Research Associate to support product and design teams with lightweight, tactical research and to streamline research operations across the company.

Responsibilities

UX Research (50%)

  • Conduct quick-turnaround surveys, usability tests, and concept validation
  • Collaborate with designers and PMs to guide product decisions
  • Translate findings into actionable insights
  • Maintain templates, trackers, and research playbooks

Research Operations (50%)

  • Improve research workflows and team efficiency
  • Manage participant recruitment and ensure ethical compliance
  • Maintain the research repository and promote knowledge sharing
  • Coordinate research tool contracts and budgets
  • Support internal education on research best practices

Requirements

  • 3+ years in UX research, research operations, or a related role
  • Experience with lightweight user research methods
  • Skilled in participant recruitment and research logistics
  • Strong documentation and communication abilities
  • Familiarity with tools like Dovetail, SurveyMonkey, or similar
  • Degree in HCI, Psychology, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Nice to Have

  • Experience in startup or cross-functional environments
  • Strong project management skills
  • Systems thinking and interest in scalable process design
