About PMI
PMI is a global nonprofit professional organization for project management. This role sits on the Web & eCommerce team, focused on optimizing PMI.org to better serve project professionals worldwide.

Role Overview
You’ll improve the PMI.org experience through UX research, data analysis, design systems, and A/B testing. You’ll collaborate across marketing, content, and tech teams to optimize user flows, conversions, and content delivery across the website and connected platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze user behavior using qualitative and quantitative data to spot opportunities
  • Design and test UX solutions that drive sales, eliminate friction, and delight users
  • Conduct foundational research (interviews, surveys, desk research, etc.)
  • Collaborate across marketing, content, and tech teams
  • Build and evolve components for the digital design system (Figma)
  • Support SEO optimization and monitor engagement with Adobe Analytics, Qualtrics, LogRocket
  • Create responsive, accessible designs aligned with branding
  • Participate in workshops and learning initiatives
  • Understand and support development workflows (especially Sitecore, headless CMS, structured content)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong product design portfolio (strategy + craft)
  • Expertise in Figma and prototyping
  • Experience with user research, usability testing, and analytics
  • Knowledge of SEO tools and practices
  • Familiarity with accessibility, responsive design, and front-end basics (HTML/CSS/JS)
  • Understanding of headless CMS, structured content, and Sitecore
  • Great communication, collaboration, and iteration skills
